Today's a Happy Day!
Despite the fact that I still have a lot of work to do and Finals are coming in less than a week, today's a happy day. =)
Just did my Film presentation today and my, I ROCKED it (along with my partner, of course). hahah! I got a Perfect 10! Got that, people?! Hahaha! It's been a while I got full marks for something and the fact that it's hard getting Perfect marks in Uni, this is a huge deal to me. Plus, some of my friends got only 6marks so this 10 is a huge... WOW to me. I was in shock for a while when my dear lecturer told me the marks. I expected maybe a 7 or 8. 10 never crossed my mind at all. hehehe.
So that's one thing that went well today.
The other part that made me happy today was...
The release of 2NE1's Park Bom's solo MV & unexpectedly, Big Bang's new japanese song, 'Let me hear your voice' MV too. YAY! Whoop-dee-doo! xDD
2NE1 Park Bom - You and I
Cute MV but the song's a bit too Americanized if you ask me, but I love it nevertheless. It's BOMtastic~! hahaha. Bom's so pretty in here and I teared up so bad at the Xmas tree part.. *sniff* If you didnt get the MV, the guy passed away in the end when they switched scenes to where she was in the field. *sniffs*
Vocals are quite nice too. Not strong, but distinctive. And the song gets stuck to your head somehow. This song soothed my sould today. Although the meaning behind the song is quite sad, as I listened to it, I somehow felt this 'hope'?
Amidst this whole hectic thing I have going on, this song totally made me smile today.
Big Bang - Let me hear your voice
This MV actually made my jaw drop. Why? The coincidence is... well, amusing. hahha! See the prominent 'dices' everywhere? I was actually going to start writing a fiction on 'Dices'. Genre of the fiction? Action/Mystery/Suspense, a whole new different field for me. Title is "Ice & Dice"(click to view poster I made lol). Even my online buddie, Selina said "Omg, when I saw the dice in this MV, it totally reminded me of you. hahah!". Hmm, Interesting.
The intro is very picturesque. The vivid shots of the 'B' 'I' 'G' 'B' 'A' 'N' 'G' was... mindblowing. Quite artistic! As for the song; I LIKE. Especially the rap ♥
Not to mention GD and TOP looked exceptionally good in this MV♥

Restless & Stressed.
I'm restless, stressed and going crazy...!
Reason 1: Assignments
- I have a Marketing presentation tomorrow.
- A 1200word feature story due this Friday.
- A Film presentation soon (within the next 2 weeks).
- 7 Public Relation journals (which includes 5 grammar exercises, 7 writing tasks, & 14 study questions) due November 4th.
- A 3000word film script due November 5th.
Reason 2: Exams
- Marketing Midterm on November 3rd.
- Journalism FINAL on November 6th.
- Marketing FINAL on November 16th.
- Public Relations FINAL on November 20th.
Reason 3: I feel lost.
I've been feeling this for months now. I'm so not happy with my course that I feel so very tired & lost.
Reason 4: I hate whatever that's happening within the walls of my home right now.
Confidential stuff. Sigh. =(
Reason 5: I can't breathe, I feel suffocated.
I need a vacation somewhere and if possible, Alone.

Boy, where you at?

Gawd, Taeyang. Thank you, for voicing out my thoughts. Well in my case, it's 'boy' instead of 'girl, but yeah. Sigh, I wanna know where my boy's at too!! Dang, where's my boy...? I know he's out there somewhere but why wont he hurry up??
To be honest, the reason why I like this song is because of the lyrics. I wish someone would just sing them to me. I know, I know, I'm naive but I believe there's someone out there who will come and sweep me off my feet one day. Someone who will accept me for who I am and we'll both fit each other like two lost pieces to a perfect puzzle =) A girl can dream, can't she? xD
About the video, i'm so in love with the choreography. Shaun Evaristo, you amazing dance choreographer, if you ever see this, I SALUTE YOU. YOU ROCK!! And I must say, your moves in this video is so awesome (sorry that I didnt really notice you till I watch the MV for the 2nd time, I was paying too much attention to Taeyang on my 1st. LOL). The dancing in here totally blew my mind! And what's with YG Family and Apples lately?? I see apples in GD's MV(practically his whole album is Apple-tized) and now here, I see Teddy's 4-second of hotness with an apple again. hahah!
As for the song, as much as I'm in love with the lyrics, I'm not totally feeling for the melody. It sounds too much like American R&B/Hip-Hop and the reason why I got into Kpop was to get away from all that. Plus, the song seems to sound exactly like his old singles. The melody was so similar to me, so yeah. haha.
I'm actually more excited about the short preview of his next song releasing in November, 'Wedding Dress' at the end of this MV. The short and sweet piano snippet totally made my heart flutter. Cant wait for November. XD
All in all, I thought that despite the intricate, mindblowing choreography, the music video is plain but its simplicity works well with the raw, heartfelt lyrics. Even though I personally didn't like the song as much as I did for his previous ones, I have to admit that Taeyang's smooth vocals make at least giving it a try worth it.
Watch it and you'll know what I mean. xD
Oh right, before I forget, a shoutout to my dear Leeyee..
I'M SO VERY DAMN SURE YOU'LL BE SQUEALING YOUR HEART OUT AND SCREAMING, "BAE, I'M HERE!! I'M HERE!!!" THROUGHOUT THIS VIDEO.
I can so imagine you, you no.1 perverted unfaithful woman! hahaha!
