Holiday-ing with my new addiction, 2NE1!
FANGIRLING & SPAZZING AHEAD. BEWARE! XD

WOOHOO!! My 2-month holiday has officially started!! YES YES YES! Now, I can leisurely spend my time on writing and photoshopping, basically doing whatever I want till whenever I want for 2 months straight! No more assignments, no more work, no more exam, no more pressure!! YAYYY!! Whoo!! XD

And adding to my excitement, remember the LOLLIPOP post about a month ago??

Personally, I like the Space version better. The Street version is, well, too common for me? XD HAHA!

2NE1 intro + debut stage

If you ask me, I would say that was a pretty good performance, considering it's their debut and it FIRST stage in the public eye after all. I SO SO LOVE the intro!! I gotta say, the 17th-20th floor-elevator idea was GENIUS and I like how they came out of the elevator when Fire started playing. XD

On to the members;

MINJI, the youngest (she's only 15!), is so badass!! XD Although I thought her dance solo part was a lil weak, I guess she made it up with her stage presence and dancing in the FIRE performance itself.

DARA, the filipino princess, well, I don't want to comment on her hair because really, I was never fond of it when i first saw it in Lollipop. GAH! Someone, please change her hair stylist! Her 'fan' dance was a lil awkward at some part but heck, you gotta admit, she's one natural beauty! if only they just bring out her beauty to the max by changing her hair!!

Park BOM, the R&B queen, is sexy! Whoo! Lol! I thought she couldn't really pull off the sexy role in the group and might not have enough 'attitude' to shine but I guess I was proven wrong.

Okay, lastly, CL!! Gah, I can't help myself but spazz about her!! I SOOO LOVE HER ATTITUDE! "I go by the name of CL in 21." KYAHHH!! I can go lesbiancrazy because of her, seriously. Her rapping is awesome and she's the same age as me!! Can you believe it?! 18!! She may not be pretty but gawd, she has so much talent, no kidding.

This performance is like 100x better! It made me so happy that they altered the song a bit. Now we can listen to their voices a lot clearer now. And the audience is so supportive! XD GAHH! And CL!! I love her expressions when she raps. XD hehe, i think by now you can tell im a CL fan. WHOO! LEE CHAERIN FTW!

2NE1 UMBRELLA (Rihanna cover)

I wouldn't say that they did the song or Rihanna justice or anything because I don't want to compare them but I think they did pretty okay with this song. I mean, considering English is not their 1st language and all, i think they did good with the pronounciation part. Vocals wise, not as strong as the original but they kinda did it in their own style?

2NE1 We Belong together (Big Bang cover)

I cant help but notice how Bommie looks so happy in this. Her expression is like, "YAY! This is my song!" hahah! She was actually featured in this song with Big Bang back in 2006 when Big Bang first debuted. Dara's voice sorta has a softer touch to it compared to the other members, in my opinion. And I think it kinda blends well with the other members' voices. I swear, Minji never stopped surprising me. She can sing, rap and dance! Everything! And she's only what? 15!! GAH! As for CL, she reminds me so so much of Big Bang's leader, G-Dragon. This video proves it when she rapped his parts. Well, she reminded me of him since the very beginning, with her attitude, her style of rapping, fashion and all. Hmmmm, it must be a LEADER thang. HAHHA!

All I have to say is these girls have caught my attention and they may not be the best out there now but they definitely will be in the future. I'll be supporting their backs all the wayy XD GAHHH! GO 2NE1!!
