HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!

I woke up just now about 10am+ and as usual, I came online as soon as I got up. And guess what?!




GDA is one of the most prestigious and recognised award ceremonies in Korea(it's like the Grammy Awards) so gah! Thinking of how they are rewarded for their hard work and great talent makes me so so HAPPY. I was about to cry when I watched them receive the grand award! God knows how much these boys have overworked themselves and cause them to sleep in hospitals countless of times. They've worked so hard!!

I was in doubt for a while when I saw the nominees for the awards a few weeks back. Judging from their 2 year absence and tough TOUGH competition, they would have lost but, GUESS NOT! XD

Dbsk won a total of 3 awards last night.

1. YEPP Popularity Award
2. Bonsang Award (they got it along with another 6 artists. You need this award to qualify for the Daesang)
3. Daesang Award!

Ah heck! I feel like bursting into tears when I saw that group hug and gawd, the smiles on their faces makes me so happy! XD If you're thinking selling over 300,000 copies of an album is no big deal, you're wrong. I know that in the US, artists sell over a million or maybe millionS but hey, think of the size of that continent and the POPULATION? Plus, Korea is famous for downloading to a point where albums don't really sell anymore. I mean I'm sure most of us download illegally from the net. We don't pay a single cent on the songs we download so why would we spend our money on albums when we can download online? That's exactly why album sales have been dropping. DBSK sold about 500,000 from late August(it's been about 4 months?) and I gotta say, judging from Korea's album market situation, it's one hell of an achievement.

And god, they totally rocked the stage last night! I wish I was there!!

"Are You A Good Girl?" & "Mirotic" LIVE! @ GDA

I was surprised when 'Are you a Good Girl' started playing then I squealed with delight because I LOVE THAT SONG! I've been wishing that they'll perform that song one day and gah!! Guess my wish came true! Though I think the choreography was so-so but heck, it's so PARTY-ish! LOL! I especially love Changmin's dance choreo. As for vocals, I think it was okay. Not amazingly WOW WOW but pretty good judging it's the first(maybe the last) performance of this song and they were dancing too. Gah, Junsu's expressions are still as sexy as ever XD And Omg, Jae, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?! or should I say what are you not wearing? XD Geez, the coordinators should just give him something better to wear.. but I guess the coordinators must haven known fangirls like me enjoyed seeing his um.. body. HAHAHA! And you can tell Yoochun was so hyped up during this performance. LOL!

And Mirotic!!! It was definitely the BEST Mirotic performance ever! Vocals were okay, pretty good and this orchestra-ish remix version is to die for! I would have given 10/10 if it weren't for that stupid pathetic line, "I've got you under my SKY". WTF? Does that make sense to you? Fyi, they had to change the lyrics because of a stupid ruling by something called "the youth protection committee/administration". Omg, does "I've got you under my skin" sound like having SEX to you? Geez. Now they can sing the original version for tv shows that air after 10pm, but not any earlier. This award aired at 7pm so yeah, I've got you under my sky. *rolls eyes* Anyway, forget about that; it'll only spoil my mood. Now's not the time. XD So back to Mirotic, OMG, that hip thrust short dance break was HOT. Jaejoong!! And Yunho's backflip was "O_O...WOW" to me. Changmin's scream cracked a bit but he's forgiven since they were performing 2 upbeat songs back to back. It's not easy singing and dancing at the same time.

Gah, I have to say, DBSK is one of the best boybands in history. I wish that they'll stay and be DBSK for the many many years to come. Their talent, hardwork, passion for music and their amazing brotherhood never cease to amaze me.
