Bella Noche; the night of beauty and glamor
HELLO! Long time no see! I know, I know. I only update like once a month and I'm a very very lazy blogger. Sigh, you can't really blame me though. Not much is happening in my life and sometimes, I just have no idea what to blog about.
SO ANYWAY!
I attended my college, HELP's Matriculation Centre(HMC)'s Annual Ball on Friday, 14th November, which was exactly 2 days ago. They call it, "Bella Noche" and it supposedly means 'A beautiful night' in Spanish, I think. Wait, or was it Latin? Bleh, I don't remember but I'm sure you get what I mean. =P
With a turqoise tube-dress that flowed just right above my knees paired with my silver heels, I walked into Legend's hotel ballroom at about almost 8-ish, feeling more confident than ever. LOL! Honestly, I felt this boost of confidence that I've never felt before and dang, it feels good to feel that way once in a while. I mean, it's not everyday you feel glamorous right?
The night started out with my friend Jovita's latin/salsa performance and WHOA, was she awesome or what! I tell you, I've never seen anyone who moved with such flexibility before. Well, at least not in real life so far but gosh, she's not called a pro for nothing, you know. While watching her perform, I couldn't help but think how I'll do later on when it was my turn (Yeah, I performed that night too). They served the food at about almost 9 and omg, I was famished at that time. If you sat next to me, you would be able to hear my stomach growling, asking to be fed. We had Shrimp Salad for starters, followed by a bowl of pumpkin soup served with bread, then a plate of chicken with assorted vegetable and strawberry cake for dessert.
BUT GUESS WHAT. I didn't get to eat the main course and desert! HOW SAD IS THAT! Leconte was telling me how good it tasted and argh, makes me upset that I didnt. And why didn't I?
All thanks to my dance performance.
The stage
My performance was at 10 but I had to go change and get ready at about 9.15. What i wore for the dance performance were a pair of black slacks, a white shirt and a black corset over it. Yeah, "IT'S BRITNEY, BITCH!". HAHHA! I performed with this group of really great dancers from college. They're all older than me though =) They were Iman, Anis, Naddy, Emad, Atiqah and Abu. All very very fun people to hang out with and the whole time we were up there on stage, I could tell that we all had a great time. We danced to a remix of Britney's Gimme more, Break the Ice(wish we did Womanizer too tho) and a bunch of other songs that I don't remember. Despite the unnoticeable mistakes I made, it was overall a great performance(or so I hear from my friends), I guess. Sadly, I forgot to film it and no one else did too.
So, after my performance, I changed back to my dress(gosh, it's so tiring changing here and there =="), then I started taking lots of pictures with my friends.

Oh yeah, if you're wondering about the hair. It's only temporary. I still have my long straight hair. I just decided to curl it for fun that night(and to look a bit different). I look pretty sexy huh? Of course I DO! I paid a freakinf RM30 for it! Lol!!! I should stop flattering myself. XD As for the makeup, my mom did it for me. And seriously, I don't look like ME with all that makeup O_O But oh well. It was fun anyway. HAHA!
Now that the ball's over, I have to concentrate on studies. Sigh.
I have Econs presentation tomorrow and I need to prepare.
