Happy 18th Birthday, Jeannette!
My midterms ended yesterday and gosh, after it ended, I practically screamed with joy because I need to get home right away and get ready for...
Well, her birthday was actually two weeks ago (2nd October) and we did went out for a hang-out session at 1U but all of us thought that it wasn't special enough for Jeannette so we all(excluding Jean, of course) decided to throw her a mini-surprise birthday party. Haha, Zherei and I were talking about it last weekend and we planned out everything. The plan was to "trick" Jean to come my house thinking that it was just another hang-out session and after dinner, Leeyee and I will drag Jean to take pics with us at my balcony, luring her away from the kitchen where Jinli and Zherei (who were supposed to be "washing the dishes") will light up the cake and bring it out to the balcony.
After baking the cake, Zherei and Jinli got to my place about 4+ and Leeyee came about 5+. We did the last minute video message as a group(will explain this later) and went down to start cooking. Again, I cooked Spagetthi. I swear, that's like the ONE thing I can cook without burning down the kitchen. Geez, I really need to start learning on how to cook edible dishes. Anyway, Jean came about 6+ and we ate dinner.
Leeyee brought Fried Chicken and Jean brought Macaroni and cheese!! And plus the tomato based Spagetthi I made, you can imagine how much food there is on the table. And WOW, Jean's macaroni and cheese was DELICIOUS!!! And she cooked it herself!! Man, she's definitely the best cook in the group. Cook for us more, Jean!! ;)
Anyway after dinner, we proceeded with the plan. Leeyee and I dragged Jean to the balcony and started 'camwhoring'. HAHA!

When the cake came out, OMG, her reaction was pretty funny though. XD
"There's a cake? Who's birthday is it?"
HAHHAH!! She was so BLUR! The time when I was videotaping her and the cake was coming towards her, only did she realize that it was for her. LOL!

After cutting the cake, we heated it up and served with icecream! YUMMYYY!! XD
And my, the cake was good. I love the walnuts!!

After the cake, we went up my room and watched this video the group and I made for her. The video consists of each of us, telling her how we feel about her, birthday wishes etc. etc. hehe, Guess what!
Yeah, she was moved to tears and it made the video a whole lot more meaningful than it already is.. After watching the video, we had a singing session. Oh, my poor ears!! HAHHA! We sang DBSK's Hug, Proud, One, Holding back the tears and the hardest song of all, Love in the ice. Yeah, imagine us singing the climax part. OMG, all the singing(more like shouting) was actually FUN though.
Oh yes! I forgot to mention. Leeyee bought us friendship rings. It was really sweet of her.Sweet? Psh. Yeah right. *rolls eyes*Kidding. HAHA! I'm actually wearing that ring while typing this now. It's really shiny, ya know? It shines every word I type. *bling bling*
