BIG BANGIN' AWARDS in MALAYSIA!
MTV ASIA AWARDS 2008!!


They have finally decided to hold it in Malaysia for once! WHEE!! XD Gosh, I was so freaking so happy when I found out! And guess what!!

BIG BANG
IS NOMINATED FOR THE
'FAVORITE ARTIST IN KOREA'
AWARD!!!!!

The other nominees are:
  1. Super Junior (biggest competition; has a BIG fanbase)
  2. Girl Generation (No offense Euwing but it's still too early for them)
  3. Wonder Girls (I would want them to win but since BB's nominated.. Sorry, WG girls!)
I've been voting for every 10 mins non-stop even since I found out! I so want Big Bang to win! Because they deserve it more than any of the other nominees and for the fact that they have the talent and what it takes to make it big in Asia. Besides, if they do win, they would probably be coming to Malaysia and if they do, I'm so gonna fly to them right away! xD

I literally paused what I was doing with my jaw dropped and STARED at this pic for a good 10 seconds before I returned back to my normal state again.
Have I ever mentioned how alluring and intense his eyes are?

I couldn't help myself from photoshopping a desktop wallpaper with these smoking hot pics! Well, I needed to change my wallpaper anyway and these pics came in just in time. I only made 1024 x 768. So those who have this resolution for their monitor is hella lucky today. HA! I only blended the pictures together, did some coloring here and there(you can see a little difference between the originals I posted earlier and the wallpaper), and added one or two light textures on it. Spent like 20-30mins to finish it. Pretty fast huh?

The outcome of it all is satisfactory, I guess? I'm being nice today so I'll share it with you. Heh. Sharing is caring, right? Oh and if you're wondering about the little quote there, I couldn't think of anything better so it's just a crappy quote. LOL!

I finally finished my freakin midterm exams yesterday. Been having exams all week since last Saturday, 14th June. Couldn't find the time to actually sit down and blog.. Well, my dear life has been boring; nothing big happened so there was nothing much to blog anyway. *sighhh*

That was my first thought when i stepped out of the exam hall. I was SO SO happy! So happy I found myself skipping to the lift to go down and get out of there! Yeah, imagine me smiling at myself in the lift and you'll get a hint of my overwhelming happiness. But sadly, that happiness didn't last long... there was only one word that flashed through my head repeatedly when I got out of the lift..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PARK YOO CHUN!!
HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY, PARK YOOCHUN!


Ok, I know it's a little late considering Yoochun's birthday was on the 4th and it's the 7th now but... I guess it's better late than never right? Well, I actually wanted to post sooner but dear Kelly (who had all the pictures and videos) had took her camera back so I couldn't do any editing and all till today so yeahh.. XD

ANYWAY! The Dong Bang gang(Leeyee, Zherei, Jinli and Jean), Kelly(my dear cousin) and I met up at De Pastry Chef cakehouse/cafe near my place to celebrate the occasion on the night of 4th June... at about 7-ish? Jean couldn't make it because of the unexpected traffic jam that happened in the area(screw the sudden rise of petrol prices!) so sadly, she missed all the fun! Too bad, Jean!

It was a pretty expensive dinner. I ordered two dinner sets for Kel and I; two bowls of soup(tomyam & wild mushroom), a plate of Grilled salmon, a plate of Lamb cutlets, and two plates of fruit tarts. AND GOSHHH!! We were conned! The salmon had this eeky fishy taste and the lamb cutlets were all fats and bones. Gahh.. I regretted for going there to eat but thank god the appetizer which was the soup and the tarts were delicious!!!!



The boss should be thankful that they have great fruit tarts or I'll seriously sue them for conning my money!

So anyway, that night only Kelly and I ate. Yes, literally. Ok, maybe not since Zherei did eat a little(a bowl of mash potatoes) while Leeyee & Jinli only ate the cake... along with the rest of us, of course. I can't let them both have all the cake now, can I? HA!

We bought this 1/2 kg cake; Mochacino worth RM40.
Apparently, according to self proclaimed Mrs. Ex Ex Park Leeyee,
Yoochun loves coffee..
which explains why we chose this flavor.

The cake sure was worth it though..
IT WAS SO SO DELICIOUS!! XD

^AHHHHHH!! XD I felt so embarassed when we sang the birthday song! I mean, after all it was in PUBLIC! Gahhhh!!! But who cares anyway? LOL! I had loads of fun and I guess that's all that matters.

^Lol!! If you didn't get it.. at the beginning, Leeyee called me short and I retorted back, 'Like you're very tall yourself.' Then she said at least Youngbae is short. So I said, imagine yourself and Changmin(6 feet plus) and I did that 'kiss' thingy. I was trying to demostrate how it'll look like if she was to kiss Changmin. Then, Leeyee said something about Kelly and Changmin and I agreed I guess? I dont even remember what I said! LOL!! So Kelly then reasoned that we didn't have to jump or anything. We just had to pull the guy's collar towards us. Zherei then suggested that if he was wearing a tie, we could just pull the tie and we all went, 'Ahhhhh *nod nod*'. HAHA! We're such a bunch of crazy girls XD

And in the second half, I seemed upset right? Well, what happened was while I was talking to Kelly, they were laughing pretty loud so I asked them what they were laughing about but they refused to tell me. That's when I knew that they were obviouslt talking about me. I kept asking and they kept on refusing to tell me.. hence the video. LOL! Truthfully, I wasn't really THAT upset. It was all for fun. HAHA! Later only I found out what happened from Leeyee. Yes, girls. Leeyee betrayed you >D

C2Age!
Welcome to the world of C2Age!
(C)osplay, (C)omic, (A)nime, (G)ame, (E)xhibition.

Well, it was held in my college, HELP University(I know, why there? But who cares anyway? xD) last Saturday[31st May 2008]. Ok, I know what you're thinking. WHY THE HELL AM I UPDATING SO LATE?! Excuse me, I'm quite a busy person so yeah, didn't really have the time to update till today. Anyway, the event was supposed to start at 8 but we went there about 7 plus. Jinli(my dear friend aka Anime freak) was so excited so I just went along with her. XD I only had like.. 2 hrs of sleep before that. LOL! What was I doing till I only have 2 hrs of sleep? Ask Jae. LOL! Kidding. I was online till about 4 so yeah. HAHA! Back to the topic, I think, overall, I guess I had a pretty okay day? The event wasn't that exciting nor was it THAT boring either but to be honest, I was utterly disappointed with the number of people who showed up. Roughly about 50(or was it less than that)?? I dunnoo.. but it sure was LITTLE. I mean compared to the usual public Anime/Cosplay events I went years before, this was pretty dull. SORRY TO THOSE WHO ORGANIZED C2AGE, you guys did an excellent job in everything; it's just that the lack of audience brought down the whole mood.

Not to mention the audience was kinda unresponsive. ==" Sad case, I know.

Anyway, I have to admit that I was pretty excited to have met 'L'. LMAOOOO!!! Yeah, you're right. THE "L" from Death Note. Honestly, I was kinda surprised how well this guy pulled off 'L'. His presence, his outfit, the way he walked, the way he talked and everything was so IN CHARACTER. It was as if the REAL 'L' was there.. I took a picture of him. LOL!

He may not look like the REAL 'L' but seriously, his presence was.. depressing.

Next, we have the mysterious hooded figure from my favorite PS2 game of all time...

Scary huh? Yeah, I was kinda scared when I first saw him at the main entrance when I arrived. He was like a statue there standing. At first I thought he was a doll or something they put out there for deco but then he freakin moved! I was like... O_O!!! yeah, you get the point. And after gathering LOTS of courage, I decided to ask for a picture which he obliged. (thanks god) LOL! I can't really remember our conversation but I think it went like this...

Me: Hey! *waves in front of him* Can I take a picture with you?
Scary guy: ............
Me: *feeling slightly scared again* Um, can I? Just nod or shake your head.. or...
Scary guy: *nods*
Me: Really?
Scary guy: *nods*
Me: ^__^ *smiles although feels scared inside* THANK YOU!

Awkward much? yeah, I agree with that. I told Jinli about how I felt about the guy and she just had to open her mouth and tell him! T.T he asked me many times randomly whether I was still scared of him whenever we meet throughout the whole event. I guess after a few times of actually hearing him speak, brought out all the (slight)fear in me. ahahha! Just yesterday, I found out from Jinli that this scary guy turned out to be HELP's Japanese Culture Club's President. LOL!

Oh, a friend I just met recently in January, Jian(one of the emcees and who organized the whole event) cosplayed as Tamaki from Ouran Highschool Host Club.

He was hella flirty(like the REAL Tamaki) till it scares me a bit. Well, he didn't really flirt with me but he sure was flirtatious with someone I know. AHHAH! XD But I guess he pulled off Tamaki pretty well too.

The programs they did that day ranged from Movie screenings, exhibition stands to mini games, Cosplay competition, Cosplay fashion show etc. It was pretty entertaining, especially the Cosplay competition. The participants had to be really into character and 'L' was just so funny! He came out with a gigantic PINK Lollipop and all. ZOMG.. KAWAIIII!~ XD And his mini scene with the hooded figure aka scary guy was hella hilarious. I laughed like crazy. I actually thought he would win but he didn't. Sadd.. but oh well. ^^

So that's how my whole Saturday went.
